LEARNING OBJECTIVES     :

By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to :

1.                  identify the AVR

2.                  know the functions of the AVR

ACTIVITIES                           :

Step1   :

1.                  A selected pupil switches on the lights.

2.                  Another pupil switches them off.

3.                   Teacher introduces the AVR by showing it to the pupils.

Step 2  :

1.       Pupils state the difference of situations when they switch on and off the  lights.
2.       Teacher demonstrates switching on the AVR and the CPU.
3.       Teacher demonstrates switching off the AVR and the CPU.
4.       Pupils and teacher discuss the functions of the AVR based on the   

            demonstration.

Step 3

1.       Pupils and their partner switch on and off their own AVR and CPU.
2.       Teacher distributes worksheet to pupils.
3.       Pupils tick the functions of the AVR from the options given.

Step 4

      1.        Solving jigsaw puzzle the picture of  the AVR box.
